Our Mission

     We are a group of practising medical doctor in HK, interested in computer or writing articles. We notice that there are more and more healthcare and medical websites. The standard of these range from very good to very bad, and many consist of misleading information. It is very difficult for layman to get the right and appropriate information. So, we build this portal site with our leisure time, aiming at a "win-win":

• to provide professional, credible, high quality, understable medical information; so as to counterbalance the effect of commercial sites, which often blur the line between education and advertisment;

• to build a positive image of the medical profession among all those blame nowadays; to clarify misunderstanding among layman, from which many unnecessary blames arised;

• to achieve our own self-satifaction while doing something good for the society.

    Since we work for the website on part-time goodwill basis, our running cost can be very low. We don't need to follow the commercial rules and can do what a real professional should do. For the same reason, on part-time basis, our progress is a bit slow and we sacrifice some unnecessary design. Since our running cost is low, we cannot be wiped out. Though a bit slow, the website will surely become a big and good website--we believe.
